Tarsier, Southeast Asian Dry Gin
Tarsier Southeast Asian Dry Gin is actually made in Manchester, but the taste is inspired by the flavor universe of Southeast Asia. And that means plenty of flavor: fresh citrusy notes from calamansi (a kind of mix between lime, tangerine and kumquat), slightly spicy notes from Kampot pepper and florality from Thai basil. And of course we must not forget the humble juniper, which has really joined exotic company. All botanicals are soaked in neutral wheat spirit, and then distilled in copper pot stills.
The name tarsier itself refers to a small primate with very large eyes ( ghost monkey in Danish), which is also seen on the bottles. It lives only in Southeast Asia, and since it is endangered, Tarsier Spirit gives 10% of the profits to organizations that protect this species and its habitat.
